The showroom is situated in a former office building originally designed in 1963 as an apartment complex by Juan Manuel Ruiz de la Prada Sanchiz, an architect renowned for his residential architecture. De la Prada Sanchiz’s work is marked by its horizontal textures and meticulous detail, which interior architect Bas van Tol respected in his design of the showroom. ‘In keeping with De la Prada Sanchiz's legacy, we blended functionality with a simple, horizontal and monumental modernist style, infused with a contemporary touch,’ he says. This approach is evident in features like the dark wooden coffered ceiling and the oak flooring, which create a warm, fresh and luxurious atmosphere that exudes hospitality.
