Responsible innovation
Vescom is constantly innovating how we design and develop material solutions that ensure a premium result and the most sustainable outcome.
Designing and developing for the future
From the initial design phase, we focus on making environmentally conscious decisions regarding materials, suppliers, and production methods. Beyond responsible materials, we are also innovating towards product durability and longer service lives.
Our products are developed to meet rigorous international contract market standards.
Extending product lifetime and durability
Our products are developed to meet rigorous international contract market standards, ensuring fire resistance, ease of use, light fastness, durability, and wear resistance. This high-quality design not only guarantees long service life but also contributes to sustainability, benefiting both people and the environment.
Innovating with responsible and intentional materials
Our Materialogy method states that all we make be connected by the materials we use, and that we get the very best out of each material. As such, all materials need to be sustainable, long-lasting and aesthetically appropriate. The result is material solutions that deliver well-being through for people and planet. We’re proud of delivering on this promise through significant efforts in developing and sourcing both natural and synthetic materials that meet the highest standards.

Vinyl innovation
Vescom is pioneering sustainability by recycling our own vinyl production waste.
We minimise waste disposal, which reduces our reliance on non-renewable resources and lowers our environmental impact.
Vescom Purefin
wallcovering
Vescom Purefin has a reduced CO2 & environmental footprint.
Olefin has lower VOC emissions and better indoor air quality, making it a sustainable choice without compromising on performance.
Free of vinyl, chloride, phthalates, formaldehyde, harmful heavy metals, plasticisers, and halogenated fire retardants.
Documentation and continued learning
We are committed to transparency in our sustainability efforts, conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and providing third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for most of our collections. These EPDs offer clear insights into the environmental impact of our products, with ongoing efforts to extend coverage to all our offerings. Ultimately, documentation is what enables us to continue to learn and evolve our processes.
Products covered by an EPD include 100% of Vinyl wallcovering, 100% of Vinyl upholstery, 90% upholstery fabrics and 90% of curtain fabrics.
